The West Highland Way is a Long Distance Walking Trail in Scotland, stretching for 96 miles between Milngavie, to the north of Glasgow, to Fort William, at the south-western end of the Great Glen. It leaves Scotland's largest city (Glasgow), passes Britain's largest lake (Loch Lomond), Britain's highest mountain (Ben Nevis), and crosses Britain's largest remaining wilderness (Rannoch Moor). In that distance, it displays some of the most amazing scenery that Planet Earth has to offer. That scenery is captured in these beautiful photographs from the route of the West Highland Way and from some of the places nearby.
