In the TV series, this tree-topped hillock is topped with a mystical stone circle, and touching one of them transports World War Two nurse Claire Randall back to 18th century Scotland where she becomes involved in the Jacobite risings.
In reality, the "stones" of Craigh na Dun are plastic props which are removed when filming is completed.
