Ruthven Barracks

The ruins of Ruthven Barracks, standing in defiance against the Scottish Highlands' stunning backdrop, are a haunting reminder of a time when war ravaged the land. Built in 1721 by Marshall Wade to quell the Jacobite Rising, they were later destroyed by the same forces they were meant to suppress. Now, they stand as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity.
