Loch Leven and Glencoe Village

This was a very lucky shot. We were staying at the Isle of Glencoe hotel at Ballachulish in February 2018, and found ourselves with a room overlooking Loch Leven and out looking towards Glencoe Village and Mam na Gualainn. Typically of Scotland in February, the weather was mostly grey and miserable, but on the morning of the second day of our stay, the sky cleared briefly and the sun illuminated the mountains. I simply opened the window, balanced my tripod on the window-ledge and composed the shot. Then I got dressed and went for breakfast.
