Looking north across the Clyde Valley from the top of Tinto Hill in the Scottish Borders. At 707 metres, it is the highest point in Scotland outside of the Highlands. On a clear day, it is possible to see the Trossachs, and the Arrochar Alps to the north, the border with England and the hills of the Lake District to the south, and Ailsa Craig, Arran and the mountains of Mourne in Northern Ireland to the west.

This picture was taken on 18 June 2017.
