GRIP, Saddell Bay, Kintyre

GRIP, a sculpture by Antony Gormley, gazes out from the rocks of Saddell Bay, Kintyre, to distant Ailsa Craig.

The sculpture, installed in 2015, was created to celebrate 50 years of the Landmark Trust charity. Originally intended to remain in place for 12 months, it was subsequently granted permanent planning permission by Argyll and Bute Council
