TweetThe Tighnabruaich Ark, built by local woodsman David Blair in advance of the Cop26 summit in autumn 2021, deliberately invoking the Biblical story of Noah and the flood to draw a parallel with the impact of climate change on sea levels.
It was constructed using larch trees that were felled due to fungal disease, and is over 20m long, 6m high and 5m wide, with a bench seat all the way round.
