Distant Dumgoyne

This is the awe-inspiring and knobbly Dumgoyne, a hill which dominates the early stages of the West Highland Way in Scotland. This beautiful mountain stands out with its distinctive shape and is viewed here from the eastern approach to Conic Hill, by Garadhban Forest. As you walk along the long distance trail, the hill looms large before you, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Strathblane and the Campsies. The horizon stretches out before you, with distant clouds and conifers dotting the sky.
