Bidean nam Bian is the highest mountain in the historic county of Argyll, Scotland. It is part of the Ben Cruachan Range and is located near the head of Loch Etive in the Scottish Highlands. The name "Bidean nam Bian" is Gaelic and translates to "Peak of the Mountains" or "Peak of the Furies."

The mountain is known for its distinctive twin peaks, Stob Dearg (Red Peak) and Stob na Broige (Peak of the Middling) which are connected by a narrow ridge known as the "Collie's Ledge." Bidean nam Bian is a popular destination for hikers and climbers, offering challenging routes and stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

In addition to its natural beauty, the area around Bidean nam Bian has historical and cultural significance. The mountain is situated in the heart of the ancient kingdom of Dalriada, and the landscape is dotted with remnants of ancient settlements and historical sites.
