Callendar House in Falkirk. This 600 year old mansion has played host to Mary, Queen of Scots, Bonnie Prince Charlie, Queen Victoria and Oliver Cromwell. The 2nd century Antonine Wall, the northernmost boundary of the Roman Empire in Britain, runs through it's grounds. This picture was taken from the point where the main drive cuts through the Wall.

The house is now in the care of the Falkirk Community Trust.

The kitchen of Callendar House was used as the Duke of Sandringham's kitchen, where the Duke was dispatched by Murtagh, in the TV series Outlander.

This picture was taken on 22 October 2017.
