The Corpach Wreck

The MV Dayspring, a fishing vessel built in 1975, now lays stranded on the seashore at Caol, rusting away under the serene sunset over Loch Linnhe, with the magnificent Ben Nevis standing tall in the background. The ship was docked at Kinlochleven until 2001 and was wrecked in 2011 due to heavy storms that broke its mooring chains. It has been slowly decaying on the western end of the Caledonian Canal ever since.
